ABOUT SME VENTURE @ASEAN 2025

In conjunction with Malaysia’s chairmanship of ASEAN 2025, SME Corp. Malaysia will organise the SME Venture@Asean 2025 from 16 to 18 October at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The event aims to showcase and strengthen the export capabilities of Malaysian SMEs while fostering intra-ASEAN trade, by bringing together key stakeholders, showcasing business capabilities, offering business matching opportunities as well as fostering networking and trade partnership.

The Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (MECD) is a Malaysian ministry responsible for fostering entrepreneurship and cooperative development. Its primary goal is to create a conducive environment for entrepreneurs and cooperatives to thrive, in contributing to Malaysia's inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

SME Corp. Malaysia

SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp. Malaysia) is the central coordinating agency (CCA) under the Ministry of Entrepreneur & Cooperatives Development (MECD) that coordinates the implementation of development programmes for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across all related Ministries and agencies. It acts as the central point of reference for research and data dissemination on SMEs and entrepreneurs, as well as provides business advisory services for SMEs and entrepreneurs throughout the country.

The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) is the country’s largest exhibition center with 1 million square feet of gross exhibition space. The first component and flagship of KL Metropolis, a city within a city where trade, commerce, living and transport converge over 75.5 acres of prime land development, MITEC is poised to be the exhibition venue of choice in the Southeast Asia region. The 12,960 sqm of columnfree space on level 3 providing an unobstructed and expansive view, making it the largest pillar-less exhibition hall in Malaysia. The entire combined exhibition halls are able to accommodate up to 47,700 visitors in theatre style seating and 28,300 guests in the banquet arrangement at any one time.

Step 3: Board the MRT Kajang Line northbound to Semantan station
Step 4: Exit to the MRT feeder bus T821 heading to MITEC (stops at Matrade or Semantan Pintu B)

Step 1: KLIA/KLIA2 → KL Sentral (via KLIA Ekspres)
